Job summary

Centurion Selection is seeking a Project Manager to lead building envelope projects from preconstruction through field execution in the Gaithersburg, MD area. You will own the project lifecycle for curtain wall, cladding, waterproofing, and related assemblies, coordinating with estimators and field teams to drive success.

This high-ownership role requires strong financial oversight, clear owner communications, and the ability to keep field crews aligned with schedule and budget.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management experience in building envelope or related exterior trades.
• Experience in preconstruction coordination including estimating support, design assist, and value engineering.
• Proven track record with field teams to hit production and quality targets.
• Strong command of project financials including budget management, cost forecasting, and change-order negotiation.
• Excellent communicator in owner meetings and able to align field teams without micromanaging.
• Local ties to the DC metro/Mid Atlantic market preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own the full project lifecycle for building envelope scopes including curtain wall, cladding, waterproofing, and related assemblies from preconstruction through final completion
• Partner directly with estimators during preconstruction to validate scope, budget, and schedule assumptions before projects hit the field
• Coordinate daily with superintendents and foremen to align on production goals, material procurement, and subcontractor activity
• Manage submittals, RFIs, change orders, and owner communications with a high level of responsiveness and documentation discipline
• Monitor project financials, identify cost and schedule risks early, and drive corrective action in real time
• Contribute to a culture of accountability across field leadership including foreman and superintendent teams
