Job summary

Consolidated Edison Company of New York is seeking an Electrification Integration Section Manager within the Customer Clean Energy Programs (CCEP) group. The role leads a team focused on making building electrification affordable, advancing heat pump adoption, and aligning internal processes for safety, reliability, and customer experience.

The position drives research, stakeholder engagement, and cross-team collaboration with Energy Services, Engineering, Rate Engineering, and others to scale

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree plus eight years of work experience or Master’s Degree plus six years.
• Experience leading a team of direct reports.
• Leadership in program, project, or process management.
• Strong ability to identify and analyze improvement opportunities and gain stakeholder buy-in.
• Strong business writing and oral communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate across levels and drive results.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead readiness for building electrification and develop a team focused on affordable adoption of heat pump technologies.
• Implement and improve processes ensuring adequate electrical service to support electrification with cross-functional teams.
• Manage Building Electrification interconnection performance metrics and coordinate scope, milestones, and delivery.
• Drive customer enrollment in optional rate programs to improve economics of heat pumps and oversee enrollment campaigns.
• Own applied research studies on heat pump bill impacts, load, and adoption, including vendor engagements.
• Provide day-to-day management and strategic direction for team priorities and cross-functional coordination.
• Analyze and improve the total cost for heat pump customers and identify company levers to scale electrification adoption.
• Partner with teams to prepare functions and plans for building electrification and foster cross-organizational relationships.
• Lead internal and external stakeholder engagement around the enterprise electrification strategy.
• Lead a team with coaching, feedback, and growth.
• Provide leadership and direction to promote engagement and professional development.
