The Hayward Area Recreation and Park District, known as "H.A.R.D.," serves over 309,000 residents across a 100-square-mile area including Hayward and surrounding communities. We manage over 135 parks and facilities, aiming to enrich community life through recreation, parks, and wellness programs.

We are hiring a Lead Building Attendant to lead staff and support our facilities rental program. This is a year-round, part-time position requiring up to 18 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage building attendant staff
• Support facilities rental operations

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Valid California driver’s license and insurance
• Ability to perform physical custodial tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds
• Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions and hours between 2 am and 4 pm, including weekends and holidays

• Start date: ASAP
• Hours not to exceed 960 per fiscal year
