Job summary
Seven Mountains Media, a female-owned family media company, is seeking an Engineering professional to maintain and install broadcast systems across NY/Pennsylvania markets. The role involves hands-on work with transmitters, receivers, and audio processing tools, plus leadership in project tasks.
The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of engineering experience, with extra points for broadcasting or Radio IT familiarity.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years engineering experience.
- Broadcasting and Radio IT/Engineering not required but a plus.
- Proven leadership and track record of driving successful results.
Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain broadcast systems and equipment, such as transmitters, receivers, and audio processing tools.
- Perform routine inspections and repairs to ensure optimal functionality.
- Monitor and analyze signal quality to ensure FCC compliance and station standards.
- Plan and execute system upgrades to incorporate new technology and improve capabilities.
- Provide on-call technical support during live broadcasts or emergencies.
- Coordinate with external vendors for equipment purchases and installations.
- Lead or participate in projects like new studio builds or transmission site installations.
