Job summary

Seven Mountains Media is seeking an experienced Broadcast/Engineering professional to install, configure, and maintain broadcast systems across multiple markets in New York and Pennsylvania. You will monitor signal quality, troubleshoot issues, and lead upgrades to support live broadcasts and events.

The role requires a minimum of 3 years in engineering with leadership experience; broadcasting IT background is a plus.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 3 years Engineer experience.
• Broadcasting and Radio IT/Engineer is not required but definitely a plus.
• A proven track record of leadership and driving success.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain broadcast systems and equipment.
• Perform routine inspections to ensure optimal functionality.
• Monitor and analyze signal quality for FCC/regulatory compliance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve signal issues promptly.
• Plan and execute system upgrades to incorporate new technology.
• Integrate software and hardware components into existing systems.
• Provide on-call technical support during live broadcasts or events.
• Assist production teams with technical requirements for shows and events.
• Maintain equipment inventory and deployment readiness across markets.
• Ensure compliance with federal and local broadcasting regulations.
• Collaborate with programming and production teams on technical needs.
• Coordinate with external vendors for equipment purchases and installations.
• Lead or participate in projects like new studio builds or transmission site installs.
• Enforce safety standards and train staff on equipment and software.
