Job summary

MSA Professional Services, Inc. seeks a Structural Engineer - Bridges in Champaign, IL to lead bridge design and technical leadership across planning, design, and construction phases.

You will collaborate with project managers, clients, and multidisciplinary teams, mentoring developing engineers and growing ownership of project delivery. Qualified candidates will have an ABET-accredited Civil/Structural degree, 4+ years of experience, and an active IL SE license.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from ABET-accredited program.
• Structural engineering emphasis preferred.
• Active Structural Engineer (SE) license in Illinois.
• 4+ years of post-graduate structural experience; bridge-related preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead structural analysis and design for bridge replacement, rehabilitation, and other transportation structure projects.
• Perform calculations, plans, specifications, cost estimates, reports, and construction documents.
• Apply design standards and engineering judgment to deliver constructible solutions and quality results.
• Mentor junior engineers and support project delivery.
