Job summary

Volkert Inc. is seeking an experienced Senior Bridge Engineer to support our Gulf Region located in Mississippi and/or Tennessee. The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of professional experience in structural engineering, particularly in bridge design and plan production. Responsibilities include leading bridge design projects, collaborating with teams, and ensuring compliance with DOT standards.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in structural engineering, particularly in bridge design.
• PE license is required.
• Experience with DOT projects and standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee bridge design projects from concept to completion.
• Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders for project delivery.
• Mentor junior engineers and assess existing structures.
