Job summary

Jiffy Lube is seeking a Lead Brake Technician to perform and oversee brake service and installation activities for approved store products and services. You will complete work accurately and timely while maintaining customer-ready estimates and driving service quality.

Responsibilities include diagnosing brake systems, operating the brake lathe, and mentoring junior technicians. A positive attitude and strong communication with customers are essential for success in this center.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license.
• Must have A5 ASE brake certification.
• Able to read and write English.
• Team-player.

Responsibilities

• Drive vehicles with automatic and manual transmissions.
• All brake service must be performed in accordance with the Uniform Inspection and Communication Standards.
• Operate lifting equipment (jacks, jack stands, hoists).
• Perform complete disc or drum brake service including hydraulic repair/replacement and related components.
• Repair, overhaul, and adjust automotive brake systems.
• Examine and diagnose vehicles; prepare repair-cost estimates and obtain customer approval.
