Job summary
Great Dane Heating & Air Conditioning is seeking an experienced Residential Boiler Install Lead to manage high-quality boiler installations in residential homes. You will direct helpers and apprentices, ensuring installations meet manufacturer specs and local codes.
Strong hydronic heating knowledge is required. Responsibilities include startup, commissioning, and diagnosing installation issues, while maintaining a safe, organized job site.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of residential boiler/hydronic installation experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of residential boiler systems and hydronic heating.
- Experience piping boilers, circulators, zone valves, expansion tanks and related components.
Responsibilities
- Lead residential boiler and hydronic installations from removal through startup and commissioning.
- Direct helpers or apprentices on the job to ensure safety and quality.
- Read and interpret manufacturer specifications, piping diagrams, wiring diagrams, and installation instructions.
- Educate homeowners on operation and basic maintenance of their boiler system.
- Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean, safe work environment.
