Agile Ventures Pvt Ltd in Concord, CA seeks a Lead Blockchain Protocol Engineer (Golang / Cryptography) on a 18+ month contract. The role is 3 days hybrid on-site in Concord, focusing on a next-generation digital asset platform with a core settlement engine and privacy-preserving cryptography.

The candidate will translate advanced cryptographic concepts into high-performance Go, work on MPC, ZK proofs, and ECC, and collaborate on distributed systems, BFT consensus, and on-chain MPC mixing

Qualifications

• Backend software engineer with strong Go expertise.
• Hands-on experience with ECC cryptography and privacy-preserving primitives.
• Experience with BFT consensus, P2P networking, distributed systems, Cosmos SDK and CometBFT/Tendermint.

Responsibilities

• Architect and build blockchain applications using Go and Cosmos SDK.
• Develop core settlement engine for the platform.
• Implement privacy-preserving cryptographic primitives (Pedersen commitments, Bulletproofs).
• Engineer ABCI++ extensions for MPC mixing network.
• Design KVStore state machines for encrypted balances.
• Optimize cryptographic operations to improve latency and throughput.
• Build secure off-chain query layers for regulatory auditing.
• Translate complex cryptographic specs into production Go code.
• Participate in cryptographic curve selection, libraries, and protocol design.
• Develop distributed systems with BFT, P2P networking, and state replication.
• Contribute to consensus logic and module development.
