Qualifications

• PhD in biology or closely related field; master’s with 4+ years applied biosafety also qualifies.
• Hands-on lab experience with biological agents at BSL2+; written/reviewed risk assessments, SOPs, or IBC submissions.
• Familiarity with biosafety frameworks and regulatory standards used by practitioners.

Responsibilities

• Map real biosafety work into tasks, risk assessments, and containment decisions.
• Write expert prompts and gold-standard answers with plausible, peer-reviewable rubrics.
• Build rubrics and verifiers to define complete, correct, and safe answers.
• Grade model outputs for accuracy, regulatory compliance, and handling of sensitive information.
• Red-team boundaries by designing adversarial prompts to test safety and utility.
• Collaborate with environment engineers to encode workflow state and reward signals.
• Raise the track quality by reviewing tasks and setting evidence-based standards for biosafety work.
