Qualifications

• PhD or equivalent with biosafety domain knowledge and judgement.
• Experience translating biosafety work into tasks, rubrics, and graders.
• Ability to assess risk, prepare SOPs, and review IBC submissions.

Responsibilities

• Map biosafety work into granular tasks, risk assessments, and containment decisions.
• Write expert prompts and gold-standard answers with realistic ambiguity.
• Build rubrics, verifiers, and scoring criteria for model outputs.
• Red-team prompts to probe boundaries between safe and harmful use.
• Collaborate with environment engineers to encode workflow, tools, and rewards.
• Raise the bar for biosafety work at Collinear AI, Inc.
