Job summary
MilliporeSigma is seeking a Sr. Engineer to join Process Solutions Filtration R&D at our Bedford, MA campus. This role focuses on developing Tangential Flow Filtration (TFF) technology for biopharmaceutical manufacturing, collaborating across teams to ensure robust filtration solutions.
The ideal candidate will have a degree in engineering and extensive experience in product development within the filtration or bioprocessing industry. A competitive pay range of $116,700 to $177,700 is offered, along with potential bonuses and benefits.
Qualifications
- 5-7 years of experience in a related technical area, or MS plus 3-5 years, or PhD plus 2 years.
- Experience in new product/process development and validation in filtration/bioprocessing.
- Strong oral and written communication skills to convey technical information.
Responsibilities
- Lead technology and product development around TFF membranes and integrated filtration solutions.
- Define technical roadmaps and translate customer needs into TFF concepts.
- Analyze process bottlenecks and design experiments to optimize filtration performance.
