Job summary

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in a related field and 8+ years of relevant experience. This position is fully onsite in Pleasanton, CA, offering a robust compensation package including a salary range of $129,400 to $175,000.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant experience or Master’s with 6+ years or PhD with 4+ years experience.
• Experience with testing and documentation in regulated environments.
• Familiarity with machine learning techniques and statistical modeling.

Responsibilities

• Drive development and release of bioinformatics software and assays for oncology diagnostics.
• Ensure high-quality bioinformatics operations, including design and implementation of bioinformatic pipelines.
• Maintain accurate and high-quality documentation in accordance with company procedures and regulatory requirements.

Skills

Proficiency in high-level programming languages (C++, Python, Java)

Expertise in Linux/Unix environments

Knowledge of software development best practices

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Excellent communication skills

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Mathematics, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline
