Job summary

ExecuSource, Inc. is partnering with a nationally recognized Orthopedic Sports Medicine group in Santa Fe, NM to recruit a Lead Medical Assistant who is bilingual (Spanish/English). The role emphasizes leadership and back-office operations in a busy clinical setting.

The position requires at least 3 years of back-office experience, MA program completion, and strong EMR knowledge. Hours are 8am-5pm, full-time, with competitive hourly pay and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program required; Certification strongly preferred.
• 3+ years of back office experience preferred.
• Leadership/Managerial experience required.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and bilingual (Spanish/English).
• Must be detail-oriented and highly organized.
• Strong knowledge of electronic medical record systems.

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms and record patient information in medical records.
• Record patients' medical history and vitals.
• Prepare and administer medications as directed by a physician.
• Explain procedures, medications, or instructions to patients.
• Inventory of medical supplies and equipment.
• Perform administrative/clerical work
• May operate x-ray or other equipment for routine diagnostic testing
• Clean and sterilize medical equipment
• Prepare pre-screening for procedures and surgical consults
• Operate as Lead Medical Assistant
