Job summary

UChicago Medicine seeks a Lead Business Intelligence Analyst to advance Value Based Care analytics within the Finance Managed Care team. Hybrid remote with onsite at Burr Ridge or Hyde Park as needed; preferred healthcare BI focus and strong Tableau skills.

You will own reporting across the VBC life cycle, ensure data integrity, and present insights to executives. Expect collaboration with clinical and IT teams, data modeling, ETL development, and performance measurement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, IT, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, healthcare analytics or related field; Master’s preferred.
• Minimum 3-5 years (5-7 preferred) of data systems, analysis, and BI development in healthcare.
• Experience with SQL and data sources such as EMRs, EDW and payer data.
• 3-5 years (5-7 preferred) of BI/report development using current tools (Tableau preferred).
• Healthcare domain experience strongly preferred; ability to lead and manage projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop and own reporting for Value Based Care initiatives and KPIs.
• Lead dashboard development and automation; present findings to senior leadership.
• Integrate data from multiple sources (EMR, EDW, payer portals) and ensure data quality.
• Design measures, populations and targets; support performance improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with business and technical teams; mentor junior analysts.
