Altius Search Group LLC is seeking an Assistant General Manager – Beverage & Bar Operations in Knoxville, TN to lead beverage programs for two concepts within a boutique hotel. The role combines hands-on bartending with management duties to ensure exceptional guest experiences.

The ideal candidate has strong cocktail knowledge, beverage cost control experience, and a collaborative leadership style. Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience leading beverage programs in upscale venues.
• Strong knowledge of craft cocktails, spirits, and beverage service.
• Proven ability to train staff and manage inventory, costs, and vendor relations.

Responsabilités

• Develop and maintain cocktail, wine, beer, and nonalcoholic beverage offerings.
• Manage beverage inventory, ordering, vendor relationships, and cost controls.
• Establish standards for recipes, presentation, cleanliness, and bar organization.
• Train and coach bartenders and service staff on product knowledge and hospitality.
• Work scheduled bartending shifts and close as Manager on Duty 2–3 shifts per week.
• Support service across two outlets and oversee closing procedures.
• Partner with F&B Director and Hotel GM on staffing, operations, and events.
