Job summary

Compass Health Network is seeking a Behavioral Technician Lead (Internal Title: Community Living Instructor Lead) to support adults with behavioral health challenges, guiding them in developing daily living, social, and wellness skills within the community.

You will lead activities, provide hands-on support, and collaborate with the Wellness Team to ensure safe, engaging programming. A High School/GED is required, with 2+ years in a mental health field and a valid MO driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High School/GED required.
• At least two (2) years experience in a mental health related field preferred.
• A valid driver’s license at the time of hire with the ability to obtain and maintain a Class E MO driver’s license by the end of the 60‑day introductory period required.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain a safe, supportive, and therapeutic environment for residents
• Facilitate group and individual activities focused on daily living, social, leisure, and vocational skills
• Support individuals in managing their wellness and building confidence in independent living
• Provide one‑on‑one assistance with accessing health, housing, and community resources
• Serve as a role model and mentor to residents, reinforcing positive behaviors and progress
• Collaborate with the Wellness Team to ensure continuity of care and effective programming
