Re:Build Manufacturing in New Kensington, PA is seeking an experienced engineer to lead the design and analysis of lithium-ion battery packs, guiding multi-discipline teams through concept to production. You will influence key decisions and ensure performance meets demanding automotive/industrial standards.

You will collaborate across program management, procurement, and manufacturing, develop CAD models and BOMs, and present results to customers and partners.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of system design for lithium-ion battery packs.
• 6+ years of engineering experience in automotive, aerospace, industrial, or related fields.
• Experience with design, development and testing of battery systems for electrified propulsion or stationary energy storage.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of Re:Build battery packs.
• Collaborate across PM, analysis, procurement, and manufacturing teams.
• Create CAD models and presentations for customers.
• Develop supporting materials such as BOMs, assemblies, or installation procedures.
• Ensure compliance to standards and battery performance needs.
• Coordinate cross-functional work to verify software and hardware meet system requirements.
