Job summary

The Sonoma Stompers are seeking a Director of Broadcasting for the 2026 summer season to lead our broadcast operations. You will serve as the lead play-by-play broadcaster and manage staff, interns, and media relations across ~45 games, both home and away.

Ideal candidates bring play-by-play experience, strong baseball knowledge, and proven communication and leadership abilities in a fast-paced sports environment.

Qualifications

• Prior play-by-play broadcasting experience.
• Strong knowledge of baseball rules, strategy, and statistics.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with professional tone.

Responsibilities

• Live broadcast all home and road games for the summer season (≈45 games).
• Serve as lead play-by-play broadcaster with color commentary.
• Oversee broadcast staff, interns, and media relations for the team.
