Job summary

Stanford Athletics is seeking an Assistant Athletics Director, Broadcast & Technical Operations to lead live event broadcasts, oversee video boards, audio, replay, and coaches film. This role reports to the COO and manages eight staff plus contingent crew.

The successful candidate will coordinate with ESPN, ACC, and campus partners, drive operational excellence, staffing, training, and strategic growth of broadcast capabilities across platforms.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and seven years of relevant experience.
• Expert level technical experience with digital media equipment and editing software.
• Strong leadership and team-building abilities.
• Experience leading and training others.
• Ability to plan and manage multiple projects under deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Plan, research, and produce professional-quality digital media for instruction and promotion.
• Lead digital media projects from initiation to delivery.
• Develop and market digital services and manage capture, recording, and transmission of media.
• Oversee staff recruitment, training, and scheduling for production teams.
• Manage budgets and asset lifecycle for the department.
• Collaborate with campus partners and external broadcasters.
