Job summary

The Jasper Hotel in Fargo, ND, part of Aparium Hotel Group, seeks a Lead Bartender to mentor the bar team and deliver exceptional guest experiences. You will apply advanced techniques, manage workflows, and uphold beverage program standards.

You’ll train staff, assist with seasonal menus, ensure inventory accuracy, and collaborate with F&B and culinary teams. Requires 2+ years of bartending, English fluency, TiPS/SafeStaff certs or ability to obtain in 30 days; nights/weekends required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of bartender experience in a hotel, restaurant, or bar.
• TiPS Alcohol service certification and SafeStaff Certificate, or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.
• Must meet local age requirements to serve alcohol.
• Fluency in English, both verbal and non-verbal.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example, setting the tone for impeccable service, professionalism, and efficiency.
• Provide knowledgeable recommendations to guests for cocktails, wine, and beverages.
• Ensure safe, responsible, and legal alcohol service, adhering to regulations.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace and manage bar operations efficiently.
• Train, mentor, and support bartenders and barbacks to uphold consistency and quality.
• Participate in seasonal cocktail menu development and update training materials.
• Collaborate with F&B and Culinary teams to ensure seamless service and timely delivery.
