Job summary

sbe invites you to join Katsuya Century City as Lead Bartender. You will set the standard for beverage execution, guest service, professionalism, and operational excellence while coaching teammates and supporting daily bar operations.

This on-site, full-time role requires 3+ years of upscale bartending experience, strong beverage knowledge, and the ability to train staff, manage inventory, and contribute to menu launches and program updates. Evenings, weekends, and holidays required.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of progressive bartending experience in upscale hospitality.
• Ability to onboard and train team members on recipes and standards.
• Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, wine, beer, and garnishes.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional beverage service while ensuring bar readiness and guest satisfaction.
• Lead by example and coach team members on recipes, service standards, and procedures.
• Assist with onboarding and training, and communicate performance needs to management.
• Prepare beverages per approved recipes, manage inventory, and support beverage program updates.
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and cost control across the bar.
