Job summary

PGA National Resort in Palm Beach Gardens, FL is seeking a hands-on Front of House leadership role to coach the team toward championship guest service and high employee engagement. The ideal candidate has 2+ years of high-volume F&B supervisory experience in a resort or country club setting, along with strong leadership and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years of high-volume bartending/food & beverage supervisor experience and one-year resort or country club experience required.
• General computer proficiency and familiarity with POS systems (Micros) preferred.

Responsibilities

Summary:

Accountable for emphasizing duties like assessing customer satisfaction, assigning tasks to bartenders, training new employees, solving customer inquiries, managing restaurant staff work schedules and recommending special menu items. This position is responsible for assisting in directing and organizing the activities and services of the department.

Essential Job Functions:

• Lead and coach the team towards achieving “Championship” guest service and employee satisfaction results

Qualification Requirements:

• Must be proficient in general computer knowledge, including a working knowledge of point of sale systems (Micros)
• Candidates should be extremely detail oriented and organized
• Candidates should possess proven leadership skills
• Candidates should possess strong food and beverage knowledge. Beverage knowledge should include wine, spirits and beer
• Hotel experience with operating multiple Outlets and Bars and a thorough understanding of restaurant service

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent. Two years high volume bartending/food & beverage supervisor experience and one-year resort or country club experience required.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.

Other Skills and Abilities:

Ability to communicate and work well with fellow employees and other departments. Maintain a presentable appearance, behavior and manner at all times. Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

Physical Demands:
