Job summary

Sodexo is seeking a Starbucks Lead Barista to create hand-crafted beverages and food at Creighton University. You will operate a cash register, keep work areas clean, and support a welcoming customer experience.

The role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and adaptability, with varying shifts and part-time hours. Prior customer service and food-handling experience are preferred, and barista certification may be required at certain locations.

Qualifications

• Team-oriented, adaptable, reliable and fosters a healthy/safe working environment.
• Experience in customer service, food preparation, sanitation and inventory control preferred.
• Starbucks Barista certification may be required at some locations.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers, take orders, mix and serve beverages such as coffee, espresso, cappuccino, latte, tea and other drinks.
• Record all sales, handle cash/credit payments and operate a cash register.
• Clean coffee machines, restaurant areas, restrooms and prep spaces.
• Attend scheduled shifts on time with regularity.
• Other duties may be assigned depending on client requirements.
