Job summary

Aramark Correctional Services is seeking a Barista Lead to deliver timely service and craft quality beverages, while training Baristas and maintaining a clean, safe location. You will process transactions on the register, follow recipes, and ensure food safety.

You will supervise staff, balance cash, handle deposits, and uphold Aramark's standards while working onsite. Proficiency in English and independent work ability are required.

Qualifications

• Successful barista experience required.
• Prior cash handling experience is required.
• Basic math and counting skills are needed.
• Experience in a supervisory or related role is preferred.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
• Must follow required dress code and read/communicate in English.
• Food handling certification as required.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and anticipate their needs.
• Prepare and serve coffees, teas, and beverages per brand standards.
• Prepare and serve food items per location standards.
• Train and guide staff in coffee/food prep, service, and cash handling.
• Schedule and delegate work and coordinate tasks for the location.
• Operate register/POS and handle cash/credit card transactions.
• Balance cash drawer and deposits; adhere to cash handling policies.
• Set up/breakdown coffee bar; maintain clean and sanitary area.
• Stock beverages, grab-and-go items, service ware, and condiments.
• Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
