Original X Productions in New York City is hiring a Lead Barista to supervise the Café Operations at the flagship location. You will oversee daily activities, train and develop team members, and ensure exceptional Guest Experience as the Leader on Duty (LOD) for the retail café.

This part-time role pays $21.00 per hour. The ideal candidate has 2+ years in food and beverage, NYC Food Handler’s Certificate, and a flexible schedule including weekends.

Qualifikationen

• Must hold NYC Food Handler’s Certificate.
• Standing and stationary work for major portion of shift.
• Ability to work at least 3 shifts, including a weekend day.
• Ability to move inventory and equipment weighing up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.

Aufgaben

• Provide leadership and sound judgment to the CaféServices team for the company.
• Implement operations policies, processes, procedures, and standards for the café and food/beverage departments.
• Train and develop a world-class retail café operations team.
• Contribute to defining team culture and integrate it into café operations.
• Assist in establishing personnel standards for the café and beverage department.
• Participate in the LOD: Leader on Duty retail café rotation.
• Oversee inventory levels and notify management when re-orders are needed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
