Job summary

Embassy Suites by Hilton - Berkeley Heights in New Jersey is seeking a Lead Barista to support the Starbucks operation inside the hotel. You will assist the Starbucks Manager with staff training and development, perform duties across the department, and help ensure guest satisfaction with quality beverages.

Responsibilities include supervising team members, resolving guest and employee issues, using MICROS POS or similar systems, and maintaining proper cash handling.

Qualifications

• Prior Starbucks supervisory/Lead trainer experience preferred
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and other Team Members
• Experience with MICROS POS system or similar point-of-sale platforms a plus
• Prior ServeSafe Certification preferred
• Excellent problem-solving skills & ability to multi-task
• Understanding of food safety and hygiene practices
• Ability to work flexible hours, including early AM shifts, weekends, and holidays
