This is your stadium, and your shift is game time. You’ll lead the huddle, execute the playbook, and make sure every cocktail, beer, and bar guest leaves like they just watched a championship win.

Your Playbook (aka What You’ll Be Doing):

Coach the Team: Mentor and motivate bartenders and barbacks—train rookies, manage shifts, and give pep talks that rally the squad for any rush.

Be the MVP: Set the standard for service and drink quality. If you're behind the bar, guests know they’re in for a show-stopping performance.

Control the Clock: Manage bar operations like a seasoned quarterback—fast, focused, and flawless.

Mix It Like Magic: Craft signature cocktails, classic plays, and creative drinks with precision and flair.

Keep It Legal: Monitor alcohol service like a pro ref—check IDs, watch consumption, and keep the vibe fun and responsible.

Run the Inventory: Stay stocked and sharp—track inventory, restock on time, and reduce waste like you’re protecting the scoreboard.

Game Day Duties (aka Core Responsibilities):

Lead pre-shift huddles, review specials, and assign bar positions like a strategic lineup.

Deliver 5-star guest experiences—smiles, suggestions, and signature pours every time.

Train, coach, and check in on your bartenders and barbacks like a true field general.

Maintain bar cleanliness, organization, and presentation—no sticky counters or empty garnish trays on your watch.

Monitor POS tabs, handle payments, and ensure every tab ends in a win.

Adjust on the fly—handle guest concerns or staff hiccups with poise and quick thinking.

Drink Duties (aka Mixing Magic):

Memorize and perfect the full drink menu—signature cocktails, classics, and seasonal MVPs.

Create new recipes and seasonal specials that wow the crowd and keep them coming back.

Plate and pour every drink like a highlight reel—garnishes, glassware, and temperature on point.

Match cocktails with menu items for the perfect game-day combo.

Use precise pours and consistent techniques to maintain quality and control costs.

Your Skill Set (aka What Makes You a Game-Changer):

3–5 years bartending in a high-volume setting, with at least 1–2 years in a leadership role.

Leadership instincts and calm-under-pressure confidence.

Deep knowledge of beer, wine, spirits, and creative mixology—you're the play-caller of the bar.

Customer service champion—you know how to win over a crowd and handle any issue with style.

ServSafe Alcohol certified (or similar) and fluent in bar tech—POS, inventory tools, and scheduling systems.

Strong physical stamina—on your feet all shift, lifting up to 50 lbs, and hustling like it’s the 4th quarter.

If you’re ready to run the bar like a championship team, serve up wins with every pour, and lead a squad that crushes every shift— Apply now and lead The Good Life bar team to victory!
