Job summary

Feedonomics is seeking a Lead Software Engineer - Backend to shape the technical vision for our high‑volume data‑driven SaaS platform. You will own end‑to‑end delivery, design scalable services, and mentor a growing team of engineers in a fully remote, hybrid‑friendly engineering organization.

You’ll work with PHP, MySQL, Redis, Docker, GCP and modern observability tools, participate in RFCs, optimize performance, and drive CI/CD improvements while aligning with the platform’s vision.

Qualifications

• BS in Computer Science or related field.
• 7+ years of backend development experience.
• Strong PHP experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the technical vision for the backend domain.
• Design scalable, high-availability services.
• Own end-to-end project execution from scoping to delivery.
• Mentor engineers and contribute to team growth.
• Improve CI/CD and infrastructure tooling.
