Job summary

Software Resources, a staffing partner, seeks a Lead Software Engineer for a major Orlando project. This 4-days-a-week on-site role requires strong Python, AI/ML, and backend tooling skills, with additional JavaScript, C, and C++. Fridays remote support collaboration.

You will design and maintain backend tooling, automation pipelines, and services, implement monitoring and databases, and ensure security and compliance. This role offers exposure to cutting-edge tech and cross-functional teamwork.

Qualifications

• Strong Python with additional JavaScript, C, and C++ experience.
• Hands-on AI/ML development and automation pipelines.
• Proficiency in SQL and NoSQL databases for data modeling and backend integration.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
• Knowledge of backend architectures, distributed systems, and performance optimization.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend tools, automation scripts, services, and pipelines for AI and data-driven apps.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and database management for reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and document best practices.
• Diagnose and resolve backend, database, and automation issues.
• Stay current with backend, AI, and automation technologies to drive scalability.
• Follow EH&S policies and participate in team activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
