Job summary

Acushnet Company is seeking a Lead Back End Application Developer to architect, build, and evolve scalable backend platforms powering connected consumer experiences for Titleist and related brands.

You will lead a hands-on team, implement modern technologies (C#/.NET Core, microservices, AKS, AI-enabled integrations), and collaborate with product, UX, QA, and infrastructure to deliver reliable systems at scale.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of backend development with C#/.NET Core.
• Experience deploying microservices in AKS environments.
• Experience with Azure services: Blob Storage, Service Bus, Event Grid.
• Strong understanding of BFF design pattern for mobile/web experiences.
• Hands-on with Entity Framework Core and SQL Server.
• Integrations with external APIs and Salesforce Commerce Cloud/Service Cloud.
• OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect security implementations.
• Experience in SAFe Agile environments; proficient with Bitbucket/Jira/Confluence.
• Familiar with GCP GA4/BigQuery; Datadog monitoring.
• DevOps pipelines in Azure DevOps; performance optimization and API versioning.

Responsibilities

• Architect, build, and evolve scalable backend platforms for mobile and digital products.
• Provide technical leadership and mentor developers; define backend architecture strategy.
• Collaborate with product, UX, QA, and infrastructure teams to enable reliable, scalable solutions.
