Lead Back-End Engineer - Golang, Ruby On Rails

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Back-End Engineer to join our dynamic development team. In this role, you will lead backend development efforts, mentor junior engineers, and ensure the quality and scalability of our applications. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design robust APIs and backend systems that meet the needs of our users and comply with industry standards.

Position Details

• Location: 100% Remote
• Salary: $160,000 - $190,000 per year

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of scalable backend systems using Golang and Ruby on Rails.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers to enhance their skills and improve team performance.
• Collaborate with front-end developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to define and implement APIs.
• Ensure code quality through code reviews, testing, and continuous integration practices.
• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices to continually improve our development processes.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in backend development with expertise in Golang and Ruby on Rails.
• Strong understanding of database design and management.
• Experience in mentoring and leading engineering teams.
• Familiarity with software development best practices, including Agile methodologies.
• Knowledge of HIPAA regulations is a plus.
