Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Electrical tech school.
• Aircraft specific factory training is preferred.
• 8+ years prior experience on aircraft maintenance/ avionics including supervision of four or more team members.
• Advanced knowledge of FAA paperwork, work orders and use of Corridor systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead the team to complete the necessary jobs/tasks with good judgement.
• Implement a strong turnover of work to the next shift.
• Look for opportunities to reduce turn time of aircraft.
• Help train/mentor technicians assigned to projects.
• Supervise team members in daily workload and schedule quality.
• Lead multiple projects independently; ensure production flow.
• Perform avionics support items on aircraft, including removal and installation of panels and components.
• Troubleshoot and evaluate systems on the aircraft as designated.
• Inspect and evaluate aircraft and components; verify performance.
• Coordinate interdepartmental schedule and act as production support for manager.
• Complete work orders and FAA paperwork; communicate with customers.
