Job summary

West Star Aviation seeks an Avionics Maintenance Technician in Chattanooga to troubleshoot and repair avionics units to the component level, including Navs, Coms, Pulse, Radar, and Autopilot systems. The role involves general avionics support on aircraft, installation activities, and coordinating with customers on projects.

The position requires 0-6 years of avionics/electrical experience, a high school diploma (electronics training preferred), and strong English communication.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred
• Electronics or avionics factory training is a plus

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair avionics units to the component level.
• Perform general avionics support on aircraft, including panel removal and installation.
• Inspect and evaluate aircraft systems and components.
• Verify aircraft performance and conduct system tests.
• Collaborate with customers in project management and support roles.
• Communicate clearly in English and use electronic manuals and training data bases.
