Position Overview

Title: Lead AV Technician - Wyoming/Colorado

Department: Operations

Reports To: Project Manager or Account Executive

Purpose: Responsible for leading a team of technicians in installing hardware components of AV systems, ensuring project targets are met. This regional travel position involves working at various sites throughout Wyoming, Colorado, and across the western U.S. Residency near Laramie, WY, is preferred.

Essential Duties
  • Lead and coordinate AV installation teams, including scheduling and travel arrangements.
  • Train and oversee technicians, supporting their certification progress.
  • Perform physical tasks such as lifting heavy equipment (up to 75 lbs.), drilling, and working at heights.
  • Install, troubleshoot, and repair AV equipment and cabling.
  • Ensure safety and quality standards are maintained.
Qualifications
  • 2-4 years of AV team leadership experience.
  • CTS certification required; CTS-I certification or ability to obtain within 3 months.
  • Ability to travel frequently, often on short notice.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Proficiency with tools, software, and safety procedures.
  • Valid driver’s license with minimal citations.
Supervisory Responsibilities
  • Manage AV technician teams on-site.
  • Coordinate travel and client relationships.
Work Conditions

Mix of indoor, outdoor, and construction environments, including work at heights and in confined spaces.

Compensation & Benefits
