Job description

Works with other installers and independently in completing installs and service calls. Responsible for timely completion of daily procedures and paperwork. Also responsible for vehicle care and maintenance.

• Self-motivated, task-driven, and able to apply "best practices" theory.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Ability to create and execute field solutions.
• Ability to use hand and power tools.

Develop and maintain proficiency in the following areas:

Key Job Responsibilities:

• Complete complex audio/video installs, setup, and calibration.
• Design control systems (control/lighting/shading) and install theater rooms.
• Setup and install satellite/cable systems.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting of systems.
• Design, install, and set up advanced networking/data systems.
• Program advanced systems (Control Brand).
• Support legacy and third-party products and systems.
• Understand multi-room systems and setup.
• Understand security system programming and design.
• Understand Bose single and multi-room solutions.
• Obtain CEDIA ESTIII and Control4 Tech 2 certifications.
• Complete Alarm.com Academy and ProSource University within the first year.
• Exhibit strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Be highly detailed, organized, and multitask effectively.
• Work on rotating service schedules.
• Meet all senior-level qualifications.
• Assist in training and evaluating technicians up to senior level.
• Maintain excellent skills with desktop and mobile computing.
• Have a clean driving record and pass background check (for DCJS certification).
• Minimum of 3 years of field experience.
