Job description

Seeking an experienced Installation Technician to join our team. This is a full-time position offering competitive pay and benefits. The role involves installing and troubleshooting audio/video systems in commercial environments, overseeing projects, and training co-workers. The position primarily involves fieldwork in the Greater Hampton Roads and Richmond areas, with the company's headquarters in Williamsburg.

Responsibilities:

1. Install and troubleshoot audio/video systems such as flat panels, projectors, structured cabling, audio systems, video distribution, IP encoders, control systems, DSP, and building racks.
2. Lead installation projects, ensure successful outcomes, and oversee/train team members.
3. Communicate effectively with sales engineers, project teams, clients, and other stakeholders.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least three years of leading installations and five years installing/troubleshooting AV systems.
• Experience with AVIXA/Infocomm CTS, Biamp, Crestron, Extron, Legrand AV trainings preferred.
• Knowledge of structured cabling, security/surveillance is a plus.
• Computer and networking skills, own basic industry tools, reliable vehicle with a valid driver’s license.
• Professional appearance, excellent communication skills, and a desire to learn and grow.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and adhere to safety protocols.
• Must pass background check and obtain DCJS licensing.
