Promotive is seeking an experienced Lead Automotive Technician in St. Charles, IL. The role offers $35-$45/hour based on experience, plus production bonus opportunities and earning potential up to $100,000 annually. You will work Monday-Friday with advanced diagnostics, modern equipment, and team-oriented collaboration.

You’ll diagnose and repair complex issues, perform DVIs, and mentor other techs while upholding OEM-level quality in a stable hourly pay environment.

Formación

• Extensive professional automotive repair experience; 8+ years preferred
• Strong automotive diagnostics and troubleshooting skills
• Experience using factory scan tools and OEM-level diagnostic procedures
• Understanding of CAN and vehicle network diagnostics
• Ability to work efficiently and independently
• Proven ability to produce quality repairs in a professional shop environment

Responsabilidades

• Diagnose and repair complex mechanical, electrical, and drivability concerns
• Perform general automotive repair and maintenance
• Complete Digital Vehicle Inspections (DVIs)
• Use factory-level diagnostic procedures and scan tools
• Diagnose CAN and vehicle network concerns
• Maintain approximately 50-52 hours of weekly productivity
• Complete repairs to OEM-level quality standards
• Support and mentor other technicians when needed

Pay Rate: $35-$45/hour, based on experience

You'll work Monday-Friday in a team-oriented shop with advanced diagnostic work, modern equipment, and the stability of straight hourly pay with no flat rate.
