Job summary

Bridgestone Americas, Inc. in Oklahoma (Norman area) seeks a Lead Technician to diagnose drivability and electrical systems, while using leadership skills to drive a team toward better customer care and satisfaction.

The position offers a flat-rate pay model with earnings potential within the $21.69–$41.95 per hour range, ongoing paid training, and opportunities for ASE certifications. Comprehensive benefits are provided to eligible teammates.

Qualifications

• Brakes diagnosis/repair skills.
• Alignment, steering & suspension diagnosis/repair.
• General automotive maintenance & tire repair.
• Ability to explain technical information to non-technical people.
• Leadership and mentoring of technicians.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications across brake, hydraulic, exhaust, fuel, electrical, suspension and A/C systems.
• Explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical customers.
• Stay current with automotive technology through paid formal training.
• Assist and train technicians in performing technical activities.
• Pursue ASE certifications (A1–A8) within two years; company covers tests and fees.
