Job summary

Bridgestone America, Inc. in Mansfield, Ohio is looking for an experienced Automotive Lead Technician. This role requires diagnosing drivability and electrical systems while utilizing leadership skills to drive a team's customer satisfaction efforts.

The candidate must have a valid driver's license and be skilled in areas such as brake repair, alignment, and general automotive maintenance. Ongoing training and A.S.E. certification opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid automobile driver's license.
• 5 years of automotive repair experience or equivalent vocational training.
• Current federal, state and local certification/license where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair vehicles to specifications.
• Explain technical diagnoses to non-mechanical individuals.
• Stay current with automotive technology through continuous paid training.

Skills

Brake diagnosis and repair

Alignment, steering & suspension diagnosis/repair

General automotive maintenance & tire repair

Electrical/electronic systems understanding

Communication of technical information

Education

A.S.E. certification (at least five of A1 – A8)
