Job summary

Bridgestone Americas is seeking a Lead Technician in Nashville. You will diagnose drivability and electrical systems while applying leadership to mentor a team, driving improved customer care and satisfaction. A sign-on bonus applies; a performance-based, flat-rate pay model is used.

Role requires ASE certification progress, ongoing training, and a focus on safety and quality. Competitive benefits accompany pay based on regional rates.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license to operate customer and company vehicles.
• Brake diagnosis/repair experience required.
• Experience with alignment, steering and suspension.
• Experience in general automotive maintenance and tire repair.
• Current federal, state and local certifications where applicable.
• Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical people.
• Reading, writing and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications across brake/hydraulic, exhaust, ignition/electrical, suspension and A/C and computer systems.
• Explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical customers.
• Stay current with automotive tech through paid formal training.
• Assist and train technicians in performing technical activities.
• Obtain or maintain ASE certifications in at least five of A1–A8 within two years (fees paid by company).
