Job summary

Bridgestone America, Inc. is seeking a Lead Technician in the Nashville, TN area to diagnose drivability and electrical systems, mentor peers, and deliver high-quality customer care. The role includes ongoing formal training and a path toward ASE certifications.

The position offers a sign-on bonus and a region-based flat-rate pay model, with pay reflecting experience and workload. A valid driver’s license and the ability to convey technical info to customers are required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to diagnose and repair braking, hydraulic, exhaust and electrical systems.
• Able to explain diagnoses and repairs to non-technical customers.
• Stay current with automotive tech through ongoing training.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications across brake, exhaust, ignition, electrical, suspension, A/C and computer systems.
• Explain technical issues and needed repairs to customers clearly.
• Train and assist technicians; pursue ASE certifications within two years; company covers test fees.
