Starting Pay Range: $25 - $35 Hourly - Flat Rate

As an Automotive Technician, Goodyear offers:

In this role, you will:

  1. Inspect, diagnose, and perform automotive services professionally
  2. Mentor and learn about new automotive technologies
  3. Work effectively in a team environment

Responsibilities include troubleshooting problems, inspecting, repairing, and diagnosing systems such as brakes, suspension, alignment, engine performance, and air conditioning. Continuous learning through formal training is encouraged to stay updated with automotive technology. Maintain standards of sales, service, safety, and housekeeping, using protective equipment as needed. Tasks may involve manual labor, including lifting and standing for extended periods.

Basic requirements:

  1. At least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license
  2. Three years of automotive repair experience, including diagnosis and problem-solving
  3. Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without sponsorship

Preferred qualifications include ASE certifications in Steering and Suspension (A4) and Brakes (A5), along with state inspection licenses and MAC certification.

Additional considerations include flexibility to work weekends and holidays, proficiency with diagnostic technology, and the ability to make recommendations based on manufacturing guidelines.
