Job summary

Bridgestone Retail Operations is seeking an Automotive Lead Technician in Hamilton, NJ. The role focuses on diagnosing drivability and electrical systems while leading a small team to enhance customer care and service quality.

You will gain ongoing paid training, mentor junior technicians, and pursue ASE certifications within two years. The position offers a competitive pay model and opportunities to advance within a large, global automotive group.

Qualifications

• Diagnose and repair to specifications across brakes, exhaust, ignition, electrical, suspension and A/C.
• Explain diagnoses and needed repairs to non-technical customers.
• Stay current with paid formal training.
• Assist and train technicians in technical activities.
• Aim to obtain ASE certifications within first two years of employment.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications - brake and hydraulic, exhaust, primary and/or advanced fuel ignition and electrical, suspension and alignment, air conditioning and computer systems.
• Explain technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals.
• Stay current with rapidly changing automotive technology through continuous paid formal training.
• Assist and train technicians/mechanics in performing technical activities.
• Obtain or maintain ASE certifications in at least five of A1–A8 within first two years of employment.
