Job summary

Bridgestone Americas, Inc. in Nashville, Tennessee, is seeking a Lead Technician to diagnose drivability and electrical systems, and to mentor a team toward higher customer care and satisfaction.

You will stay current with automotive tech through paid training, obtain ASE certifications within two years, and help teammates grow. Bridgestone offers medical, dental and vision, paid vacation, 401(k) match, flexible schedule, and daily pay options.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license required to operate customer and company vehicles.
• Proficient in brake diagnosis/repair.
• Experience with alignment, steering & suspension systems.
• Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical people.
• Reading, writing and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair to specifications – brakes, exhaust, fuel ignition, electrical, suspension and A/C.
• Explain diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals.
• Stay current with rapidly changing automotive technology through continuous paid formal training.
• Assist and train technicians in performing technical activities.
• Obtain or maintain ASE certifications within two years of employment.
