Mechanics & Body Shops Marketplace in Mountain View, CA seeks a lead or master automotive technician who shares a passion for performance cars. You will guide other technicians, diagnose complex issues, and help tailor cars for track driving with expert advice on power and handling.

You will perform precise repairs across engine, fuel, electrical, and suspension systems, while promoting a collaborative, enthusiast-friendly shop culture and a high standard of workmanship.

Qualifications

• Experience as lead or master automotive technician with strong diagnostic skills.
• Ability to advise on performance upgrades and track-ready setups.
• Proven track record performing repairs on engines, transmissions, electrical, and suspension.

As the lead technician part of the job includes interacting with other enthusiasts, advising on setting up performance cars for track driving, advising on power and performance upgrades, as well as general performance car knowledge. In addition, the lead technician is responsible for swiftly and accurately performing automotive repairs including engine management systems, fuel management systems, transmission, electrical, alignment, steering, suspension, brakes, etc.
