Job summary

Moses Auto Group, a historic automotive dealer, seeks an experienced automotive technician leader with GM dealership background. You will lead the service technician team, diagnose complex issues, and guide repairs using GM resources to ensure quality and efficiency.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years as technician/lead, strong diagnostic skills, and familiarity with GM procedures. Excellent communication and leadership will help drive customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• GM dealership or GM-certified master technician experience preferred.
• Experience communicating with GM Technical Assistance Center (TAC).
• Strong understanding of manufacturer repair procedures and technical service information.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and day-to-day support to the service technician team.
• Diagnose complex mechanical, electrical, drivability, and diagnostic concerns.
• Assist technicians with difficult or repeat repairs and develop diagnostic strategies.
• Collaborate with GM TAC and GM resources to resolve vehicle concerns.
• Review procedures, service bulletins, and resources to ensure quality repairs.
• Monitor repair quality and ensure vehicles are repaired efficiently and correctly.
• Ensure safety policies and proper shop practices are followed.
• Identify training needs and communicate them to service management.
