Working hours are 1500–2330, with Saturdays and Sundays off from non-scheduled days. Starting annual salary is $75,836, with comprehensive federal benefits and eligibility for standard postal service programs.

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses operating difficulties on a variety of vehicles and performs checks on engines and major components.
• Performs computerized and electronic diagnostic tests using specialized equipment; interprets trouble codes and service manuals.
• Conducts road tests before and after maintenance; annotates vehicle problems on work orders.
• Troubleshoots malfunctioning vehicles and identifies faulty parts; maintains maintenance records.
