• 3+ years of experience as an automotive service technician.
• Ability to read and interpret information, such as shop manuals and other technical publications.
• Strong understanding of vehicle maintenance and repair processes.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Leadership and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Help hire, train, and manage a team of automotive technicians.
• Oversee assigned service and repair orders.
• Ensure proper use and maintenance of repair equipment.
• Develop and maintain professional relationships with customers.
• Provide cost estimates and other customer service-related duties.
• Perform quality checks on repairs and diagnose any additional service and repair needs.
• Implement strategies to meet service department goals.
• Plan and forecast technician scheduling.
